Mission Statement

The functions of the Office of Budget and Analysis are University Planning and Budgeting, Institutional Research and Data Administration. These functions support the instruction, research and public service mission of the University.

Vision

It is our vision to assist executive management and the university community in attaining their respective missions by creating and disseminating quality information for planning, budgeting, management, and accountability.

Goals

The goals of the office are to direct the planning and budgeting cycle, to provide information for internal planning and the decision-making process, and to facilitate the reporting requirements of the University.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the University's Operating Budget
  • Monitor and control the budget and legislative appropriations
  • Evaluate budgetary performance and resource utilization
  • Coordinate reporting of faculty and staff activity
  • Perform and disseminate studies and provide informational resources
  • Function as liaison with the Florida Board of Education/Division of Colleges and Universities (FBOE/DCU) for responses to data requests
  • Respond to internal and external requests for information and advise administrative offices in interpreting and developing responses to data requests
